Scalp Revival Hydrating Mask Review: Everything You Need to Know About Briogeo’s Latest Launch

If you have been following me for any length of time, you know that there is one haircare brand that stands out to me above all others. Briogeo’s products consistently deliver incredible results. Their line makes my hair soft, shiny and healthy. I’ve reviewed many of their products in this earlier blog post, but the focus of today’s review is their newest addition: the Scalp Revival Hydrating Mask.

Briogeo sent me this new mask a few weeks ago, and I’m super excited to share my thoughts after testing it out a bit! Keep reading if you want the full scalp revival hydrating mask review.

The Newest Addition to the Briogeo Family: Scalp Revival Hydrating Mask

Briogeo scalp revival hydrating mask review

Briogeo is expanding their scalp revival line, adding a hydrating mask to the line’s shampoo, conditioner, scalp treatment and dry shampoo. Designed for those with a dry, flaky or itchy scalp, you leave it on for 10 minutes and then rinse, before using conditioner.

What Does This Mask Do?

Like the rest of the Scalp Revival line, this mask soothes and cools your scalp to promote hair health. It also hydrates

How is it Different from the Other Products of the Scalp Revival Line?

To me, this is the perfect complement to the charcoal micro-exfoliating shampoo; I start with that scrub, then follow with this mask before using my conditioner from another line of Briogeo products. I think it fits in nicely with the rest of the Scalp Revival line. If you’ve tried the conditioner, the mask is more hydrating and more effective in my experience. All of the products contribute to a soothed, cool scalp.

Key Ingredients in the Scalp Revival Hydrating Mask

The ingredients list for the mask is quite similar to the rest of the scalp revival line. Binchotan charcoal draws out impurities, aloe vera and hyaluronic acid increase scalp hydration, and tea tree, peppermint, and spearmint oils soothe with a cooling effect.

What You’re Here For: My Scalp Revival Hydrating Mask Review

I’ve used this for about a week’s worth of washes (so 3 times) and so far have been very impressed. I love pairing it with the charcoal shampoo, so I start with some exfoliation then follow up with this hydrating mask. It has a pleasant sensation while applied. Once rinsed out, it leaves my scalp feeling fresh and cool – huge for me as a rider who wears a helmet for 4+ hours a day. I’ve also noticed that it makes my scalp feel clean for longer after I shower.

Is It Worth It?

In my opinion, absolutely. I love a good hair mask but the vast majority focus on hydration and repair. While that’s great, I don’t need six that all do the same thing! So I love when I find one that offers something unique.

What Other Hair Masks Do I Recommend?

You may be wondering what other hair masks I use and love. My number one mask is the Briogeo Be Gentle Be Kind Avocado Kiwi Mask – it’s so intensely moisturizing and leaves my hair butter soft. My other hydrating go to is the Verb Ghost Mask – it conditions my hair without making it feel heavy. And lastly, if you’re looking for another unique mask option, look no further than the Amika Flash mask – it’s a 1-minute treatment that leaves your hair shiny and glossy.

While you really only need one mask in your shower, I enjoy having a range of options available depending on what my hair needs and what activities I may be getting up to.

Final Thoughts

I’m so grateful to Briogeo for saving me a bit of $$ and sending me this mask to try out (if you want to know how I get to work with such amazing brands as a small creator, read this blog post!) As I almost always am with their products, I’m thoroughly impressed and will be restocking on this once I run out.
